About Vintage Worship

Vintage Worship is the worship blog of Chris Gates, Worship Pastor for Hill Country Bible Church Dripping Springs, a new church plant near Austin, TX. Vintage Worship is all about worship that is passionate about who Jesus really is, based on who Jesus really claimed to be when he walked the earth as a man (a real human–yes totally human–man), and authentic in every way. Jesus is real, and the worship of Jesus must be real as well. Pleasing him is our one desire in all that we do. We desire our corporate worship to be filled with God’s word, connected with the worship of the saints throughout history, and encouraging for the people of God. Just like Jesus, Vintage Worship aims at being true to the word of God and relevant to the culture around us. What is more relevant than Jesus?
